If you've never had a roof replaced, the process can feel uncertain. Here's exactly what to expect when you work with DeLeon Roofing.

Step 1 — The estimate. We visit your property, inspect the roof (and attic if accessible), and discuss what we find with you. You'll receive a written quote that itemizes materials, labour, and disposal. No pressure, no obligation.

Step 2 — Scheduling. Once you accept the quote, we'll schedule your installation. Lead times vary by season — spring and fall are our busiest periods. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront.

Step 3 — Preparation. Before the crew arrives, we ask that you clear your driveway and move vehicles away from the eaves. Inside, it can help to remove fragile items from shelves near exterior walls.

Step 4 — Tear-off. The crew removes your existing roofing material down to the deck. This is the noisiest part of the job. We inspect the deck for any soft spots or damage and address them before proceeding.

Step 5 — Installation. We install ice and water shield at the eaves and valleys, followed by underlayment, then your new shingles. Flashing is replaced or resealed around all penetrations.

Step 6 — Cleanup. We remove all old materials and debris, do a thorough sweep of the yard and driveway with a magnetic nail roller, and leave your property the way we found it.

Step 7 — Final walkthrough. We walk the job with you, answer any questions, and provide your warranty documentation. Most residential replacements are completed in one to two days.
